We carried out another project to physically change the servers and install them in a room with superior conditions.

The aim was to relocate the server room to a new room, changing the existing cabling for users, laying the network and connecting 108 meters of optical fiber to another room, thus ensuring connectivity between the 3 existing rooms, with a total of 98 network points, and setting up two new communications racks between workstations and servers.

The floor boxes were changed to ones with greater capacity for power connections and network sockets, as well as the connection of three racks, two for communications and one for the servers.

Our support was also needed to change the operation of the client's network with the implementation of a Gigabit and fiber network in order to give the company more reliable communications when changing its server room.

We allocated our networking resources and around 9 experienced, certified and specialized networking technicians to this project. Work began at 5pm on Friday and was completed over the weekend, thus avoiding any downtime for the company.

This work included:

Total implementation of category 6 computer cabling, laying around 6000 meters of new cable and replacement of the floor boxes, with the installation of network and electricity;
Installation of around 108 CAT6 Gigabit network points throughout the office with cable routing to the new rack area;
Certification of the CAT6 Gigabit computer cabling installed;
Certified team specializing in the installation and configuration of computer networks;
Passage and installation of fiber optic computer cabling to connect the room with a distance of 108 meters and connection to the switches in the server room;
Installation and connection of three racks, two for communication and one for servers.

With the effort and dedication of the whole team, the project met the deadlines requested by the client, carried out outside of normal hours so as not to interfere with his company's activity.
